Whichever one sounds like you, we’ve supported families through it before
— and we’ll walk it with you.
You’ve noticed things. You’re not ready to label them. You just want someone to listen.
You have the report. You need a plan that actually fits your child and your family.
You’ve done therapy. You’ve done assessments. You want progress you can see at home.
You don’t need us to tell you what SEN parenting feels like. You already know. And from here, you don’t have to carry it on your own.
We can help you make sense of it — together.
There is a way through this. It starts with understanding the “why”.
That’s the team we try to be.
We measure progress in real life — the first time your child asks for help instead of melting down. The morning routine that stops being a battle. The birthday party they finally enjoy.
That kind of progress doesn’t happen in a therapy room alone. It happens when therapists, parents and children work as one team. So parent coaching, home strategies and honest communication aren’t add-ons at UPBC. They’re built into every programme.
Fewer meltdowns. More tools. Calmer mornings, calmer bedtimes, calmer families.

Attention, participation and the everyday skills that help your child belong in a classroom.

When Ivy began working as a behavioral therapist in 2009, she kept noticing the same pattern: children whose capabilities were consistently underestimated, and parents who were told what their child couldn’t do instead of what they could achieve.
After over a decade with hundreds of Hong Kong families, she founded U.P. Behavior Consulting in 2019 with one mission: unlock the potential in every child we work with.
“U.P.” isn’t just our name. It’s our direction
